Certificates of Enhanced Disclosure, (police checks) are held by all the Youth and CCJ leaders.
The rules are there for the well being and safety of all attending so please support the Youth Leaders.
Rules and Regulations when camping in the Youth Area.
Youth must report to the Youth Leaders before pitching in the Youth Line. The Youth Leaders have the authority to decide who may or may not camp in the youth area or take part in any activity organised by them •
No mixed gender tents at any time •
All cooking must be under the supervision of a YOUTH LEADER only unless you have passed your CCC Youth Test •
NO cooking, gas appliances or naked flames in or near tents AT ANY TIME •
Fire bucket to be full and outside every tent at all times •
Be aware of safety of yourself and others at all times and report any misuse of lighters or cooking equipment •
Be helpful and courteous to your fellow campers at all times •
Set a good example for younger Youth and Juniors •
No consumption of alcohol within Youth Lines •
Adhere to all requests from the Youth Leader and the meet Steward •
Only Youth members and the Youth Leader are permitted into the Youth area •
Respect everybody’s property •
No swearing, racist remarks, name-calling •
Do not cause a nuisance to other campers or locals •
The 11pm –7am all quiet rule also applies in the Youth Line •
ALWAYS leave your pitch as you found it and pick up all rubbish Any deviation from these rules may lead to exclusion from Youth camping and activities •
We aim to: Have fun, Encourage camping independent of family unit, Prepare you for your CCC Youth Test including,Pitching a tent o Safety and Hygiene o Kit o Cooking o First aid o Map reading.
