Chairmans Chat December

Birchwood DA FOL

The weather was fine, The majority of those camping joined in with the lighting up of the vans in the evening, with plenty of very good displays that left people wondering, what was that!. We had the use of the barn on site for the evening, with soup and hot dogs. Sunday morning saw a group of us on Chessel Beach with Gordon and Anne, on a Countryside Care project. It was both informative and very much enjoyed. Many thanks to Gordon and Anne, we look forward to the next outing.

Halloween

The event was held at West Hall Farm, Sherborne. The meet was, as usual a great success, although the units attending were down. Saturday evening saw us all in the function room with music and dancing and fancy dress and pumpkin competitions.

Church Farm Sixpenny Handley. End of Season meet.

Although personally, due to work commitments. I was unable to attend. It appears that I missed a very good evening, the entertainment arranged, a new group to most of you "Loose Connections" were by all accounts, excellent and I'm told that we may be booking them again in the future. We also celebrated Keith Measday's birthday.
