Teddy Bear's Picnic 2005

The weekend was really good. It was quite hot and I got sun burn. It was quite nice to have the river to paddle in because the cold water was nice and refreshing for my burnt back. We had a boat race in the river with the boats we had made that day at the workshop and mine came first! At the workshop we also made a moving teddy bear and mine won that as well! We also decorated a cup for the teddy bear's picnic we were going to have that afternoon. At the picnic if you took your teddy bear there was a choice of cakes, fruit, sandwiches, sausages and drinks. It was really nice and tasty. After that there was jelly and ice-cream.YUM! YUM! At night time just before it got dark the adults made a raft for the children to go in, we went floating up the river in it. After that we had the light up boats, they're the boats that go floating up the river (not a race) with tea light candles on them. The river was totally lit up and it looked georgous.
